Physical therapy is a crowded search in Spokane Valley. Providence, MultiCare, the national chains and a dozen independent clinics are all after the same few dozen searches, and on most of them a map pack — the three businesses pinned under the map — sits above the organic results and takes the first click. Synergy Healthcare already had the hard cases covered — vestibular migraine, chronic pain, post-surgical rehab — and the reviews to show for it. What it didn't own was the searches Spokane Valley patients actually run: in late April, ten of the 132 we track returned Synergy first.

We built the plan around what makes the clinic different. Synergy offers treatments most physical therapy practices don't — frequency-specific microcurrent, craniosacral therapy, visceral and neural manipulation, shockwave — and each one now has a page written to answer the questions a patient types before choosing a clinic, not a brochure paragraph. The clinic's details read the same everywhere they appear online, and the Spokane Valley pages speak the way people here actually search, including the ones who mention paying cash, a work injury, or a car accident.

The rank tracker tells the story in one line. In late April, ten of the 132 Spokane Valley searches we watch returned Synergy first. By mid-September it was forty-six, with seventy-eight in the top three — first in the map pack, first in the organic results, or both. Search “spokane valley physical therapist” from anywhere in the Valley and the clinic's own site is the top organic result, ahead of Providence, MultiCare and the chains. It holds the same spot on the searches that matter most to a clinic's margins — cash-pay physical therapy, shockwave therapy, craniosacral therapy — and on the first two it's first in the map pack as well.

The part we're proudest of is newer. When Google answers a health question with an AI Overview — the generated summary that now sits above the results — it names its sources, and on fifty-five different searches across the country one of those sources is a Synergy page. Ask what frequency-specific microcurrent is and Google's answer cites Synergy second, ahead of the Cleveland Clinic. Ask whether TRICARE covers physical therapy, or what physical therapy can do for vestibular migraine, and the clinic is cited there too. That's what it looks like when a small practice becomes the reference for what it does — and it's the same writing that earned the local rankings, read by a different machine.
