What should I know about your pricing?
We price our products according to the number of hours we’ll invest, paired with the technical nature of the work being performed. If you’ve already received a quote, we may be able to beat it – so make sure you contact us before you go with someone else!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always like to reach out and set a first meeting so we can better understand your company and what your expectations are. We want you to feel comfortable working with a new partner, so we’d prefer to come to you if possible.
After touching base to get a sense of what you need help with most, we’ll fine tune a strategic plan that outlines what we need from you, along with what we’re going to do to help you craft a successful online presence.
We typically get to work either the same day as our first meeting or the first business day after (so immediately). Time is money, and we don’t want to waste your money.
We don’t maintain a physical office for appointments, but are more than willing to travel to you or meet virtually, which is often more convenient for our clients anyway.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our primary SEO provider has been studying Google’s Search algorithm and the subsequent updates to the algorithm for more than 15 years now. We also have a great deal of experience with HTML & CSS, Graphic Design, Systems Administration, and basic programming knowledge.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
They say – “Do what you love. Love what you do..” That’s true for us. What would probably be a real headache for most, is quite stimulating to our brain! We love a challenge and SEO is like a gigantic puzzle that never ends and is constantly shifting and the target is always moving.
Our first website was built in 2001. So we’ve been doing this for a while and it’s truly our calling and our passion. We’ve moved away from the Design side of the job but are still capable of modifying existing websites if necessary.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All kinds, we prefer working with small businesses. We take pride in helping the little guy win.
However, we’re not afraid of mid-size to corporate gigs either. If we have to, we’ll partner up with an industry friend to get the job done, no project is too big or too small for August SEO.
Describe a recent project – How long did it take?
We just finished working with a Used Car Dealer here in our area (Spokane, WA). In just 3 months we propelled a 12 year old website back into action with over 75 different 1st page (top 10) Google ranking positions! That may seem outrageous, but we’re happy to provide the data and show you proof!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Meet with anyone you’re considering before you sign on the dotted line. We’ve encountered businesses who were taken advantage of by Indian SEO’s from overseas.
It’s always best to hire local so you can meet with your Search Consultant to address your concerns. People in far away places often use spam tactics and black-hat methods which may end up harming your online presence rather then helping you!
